About ADIA

ADIA is the Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association.

ADIA members provide diagnostic facilities across the nation which complement those financed directly by Government.

Our highly qualified and experienced radiologists are specialist doctors respected throughout the medical profession for their diagnostic and clinical skills.

Medical imaging plays a vital role in the medical profession’s diagnosis and management of the health issues of the Australian population.

Our Members provide medical advice to patients and their referring doctors using increasingly sophisticated imaging techniques. All the specialist doctors in our facilities are certified by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

As part of our forward vision, ADIA is promoting an Australia-wide Practice Accreditation Program, to continually improve performance standards for all diagnostic imaging facilities.

The program aims to provide doctors and their patients with certainty of quality, access and delivery of imaging services.
