Benefits of ADIA membership

By becoming a member of ADIA, you strengthen our sector’s voice with the Federal Government and thereby not only help protect your individual business but also help ensure your patients continue to receive the high quality service they deserve.

Access to government

As an ADIA member, your fees directly support ongoing efforts to ensure the continued sustainability of funding for private DI practices. Equally importantly, membership gives you a voice in the development of ADIA’s position on key issues.

“Independent radiology practices have a significant voice within ADIA and it has been a strong advocate for its members. ADIA membership represents excellent value for money for imaging practices.” - Roberto Rojas Morales, General Manager, Canberra Imaging Group

“ADIA has opened doors for our practice to be involved directly with government to put our position to them.” - Matthew Swain, General Manager, South East Radiology

A voice for independent practices

ADIA provides a forum for independent radiology practices to discuss and promote the issues which directly affect the operation of their practices and their particular challenges.

“At Qscan Radiology Clinics we have been a member of ADIA since our practice was first formed. ADIA has strong industry representation, and it is vital that the Association is able to reflect the views of as many radiology practices as possible. I urge independent practices to consider joining ADIA to ensure their views are taken into account in the formulation of future strategies for effective Diagnostic Imaging service provision.” - Dr Hal Rice, Qscan Radiology Clinics

“ADIA provide Gold Coast Radiology with a reliable, professional and up-to-date representative group, in regard to Private Radiology and interpretations and interactions of Government related policies. Gold Coast Radiology's membership with ADIA is invaluable.” - Dr Michael Ryan, Gold Coast Radiology

Expert advice, information and networking

ADIA regularly provides members with updates dealing with relevant industry news and developments. Members are also invited to attend bi-annual Member Council meetings which provide an opportunity to learn from experts and seek their advice, as well as network with peers.

“Being a member of ADIA has allowed Benson Radiology to have access to the latest information regarding industry challenges and changes. We have been able to build strong relationships with practices across the country to take a collective approach to addressing problems and to benchmark performance.” - Aaron Hatcher, General Manager - Operations, Benson Radiology

Value for money

ADIA’s vision for the Australian Diagnostic Imaging profession is that it must be affordable, sustainable and of world-leading quality. We are committed to representing the interests of all our members to achieve this. When you weigh up the benefits, membership fees are a small price to pay.

“I have been able to meet face-to-face with the Minister and government officials to explain the impact of long term under-funding of DI rebates on our practice and our patients.” - Dr Paul Lau, Radiologist
