About ADIA membership

ADIA exists to help ensure all Australians have ongoing access to comprehensive and high quality diagnostic imaging services; access both geographically and financially.

For this to happen, it is vital that a sustainable funding and regulatory framework be in place to support private practices because private practices – not public hospitals – provide the majority of diagnostic imaging services.

ADIA regularly consults with government ministers, senior departmental officials, and a wide range of relevant stakeholders to promote access, quality and funding which is both reasonable and fair.

And all of our work reflects our diversity. ADIA’s members include large and small practice groups, stand alone businesses and hospital-based practices located in more than 400 sites in every state and territory.

While business models might differ, our members have united around common interests - in seeking better health outcomes for all Australians, and securing government funding and policy arrangements to support quality private practice.

As a membership-based organisation, the more practices ADIA represents, the louder our voice and the more we can do for our entire industry and the Australian health system.
